The Protection Plan Integration process in Appliance.io makes it easy to connect your preferred protection plan provider, sync your dealer details, and start offering coverage directly through your quotes and orders. Everything is designed to give your customers peace of mind — while keeping setup fast, simple, and fully automated.

📍 Accessing Protection Plan Integration

To get started, open the sidebar and click Integrations. You’ll see a list of available partners. Look for the protection plan provider you’re working with and switch it on. 💡Note: You can only activate one protection plan provider at a time — so make sure you’re selecting the correct one. If you’ve already completed onboarding with your provider, your cost, pricing, and term length information will be preloaded for you. If not, simply reach out to our team, and we’ll help you get connected. After activating your provider, click Manage. Here, you’ll enter:
  • Dealer Key
  • Dealer Number
Copy and paste these from your provider account, then hit Save. Your integration is now live! From this point forward, any protection plan claims will be handled directly between your customer and the plan provider, with all needed information already synced automatically.

🛡️ Adding a Protection Plan to a Quote or Order

Once your protection plan integration is active, you can start adding plans to your quotes and orders in seconds. Open the quote or order you’re working on, then:
  1. Click the Expand icon
  2. Select + Protection Plan
You’ll see a list of available plans from your provider. Choose the one that best fits the product in the order and click Save. The protection plan charge will be instantly added to your total — no extra steps required.

And that’s it — your Protection Plan setup is complete! Once activated, your system stays fully connected to your provider, ensuring smooth, automated handling of coverage and claims. All you have to do is select a plan and add it to your quote or order. Protecting your customers’ purchases has never been easier.
