Choose Notifications from Settings. Click 'Notifications'

Top Tabs

First, notice you have two tabs at the top, Internal and Customer notifications. We’ll start with Internal. Click 'Store Inventory Alert'

Internal Notifications

Internal Notifications are alerts, messages and updates shared between employees only. Screenshot of Internal Notifications in Notifications In the email input box at the top, enter the sendor email you want your notifications to display, no reply is a common choice. <a href=no-reply@fakeappliances.com”/>

Priority Levels

Select a priority level to view only the notifications you wish to see. Click 'Store Inventory Alert' Choose any notification to get started. Click 'Store Inventory Alert' Select the priority level at the top of the pop-up box. Click 'Select Recepients'

Who Gets Notified

Choose who should receive the notification from the drop-down. Choosing a salesperson will refer to the employee listed as the salesperson on the order. Screenshot of Who Gets Notified in Notifications

Customize Your Message

You can change the subject of your notification here. Click 'Store Inventory Alert {inventory_alert_type}' This is the body of your email. Example: Inventory Alert

You can click Schedule Delivery right from the email, it will take you straight to the order so you can get it scheduled! Screenshot of Example: Inventory Alert in Notifications, step 2 These are pretty self-explanatory, just a few to expand on… Click 'Store Inventory Alert'

Special Order Docs

Special Order Document Completion is when a customer places a special order, let’s say an Orange Viking fridge, they might be required to sign a document you have provided letting them know this is a final sale. Once the document is signed, the recipient is notified! Click 'Store Inventory Alert'

Account Manager Notification

Account managers can be assigned to a specific customer account. For example, one sales person brought in and works with a large contractor on an ongoing basis. If anyone was to change who owned that customer account, a notification would be sent. Click 'Store Inventory Alert'

Customer Notifications

Ok, let’s hop over to Customer Notifications! Click 'Customer Notifications' This gets a little more involved, Click 'Account Receivables Email Statements settings on'

Email

but first, notice you have separate email and SMS, or text, notifications. We’ll review email first. Click 'Account Receivables Email Statements settings on' OK! Seatbelts on, here we go! Try to keep up! Screenshot of Email in Notifications

Toggle On/Off

Ok, first you’ll need to slide on the toggle for any of these you want to implement! Click 'Account Receivables Email Statements settings on'

Accounts Receivable Statements

Accounts Receivable Statements are to invoice your larger customers, like contractors or builders. They all include a PDF copy. Click 'Account Receivables Email Statements settings on'

Backordered Items

Backordered Items notify your customer when an item from their order has been backordered and the next steps they should expect. Click 'Back Ordered Item settings off'

Delivery Attempt Unsuccessful

Delivery Attempt Unsuccessful notifies your customer that an attempt at delivery was made and the next steps they need to make to get it rescheduled. Click 'Delivery Attempt Unsuccessful settings off'

Delivery Has Arrived

Delivery Has Arrived lets your customer know that the driver is at their location and ready to unload, it works off of the drivers app. Click 'Delivery Has Arrived settings on'

Delivery Reminder

Delivery Reminder lets your customer know the day, date and time they should expect delivery. This one is special, Click 'Delivery Reminder' because you can set the timing you want this notification to be sent to your customer. There’s a few other like this, I will point them out! Click 'close'

Delivery Scheduled

Delivery Scheduled notifies your customer of their delivery details immediately after it is scheduled. Click 'Delivery Scheduled settings on' Delivery Successful is sent after the delivery has been marked as complete, if you’re using the drivers app, this would occur as soon as your driver clicks “complete stop”. Click 'Delivery Successful settings on'

Emergency Delivery Reschedule

Emergency Delivery Reschedule notifies your customer when an unforeseen emergency takes place and their order cannot be delivered when they expected, for example, a truck breaks down. It also gives next steps! Click 'Emergency Delivery Reschedule settings on'

Follow Up Back Ordered

Follow Up Back Ordered Item is just a secondary update, Click 'Follow Up Back Ordered Item settings off'

Timing

the timing can be adjusted by how often you wish to have it sent. Screenshot of Timing in Notifications

Home Visit Reminder

Home Visit Reminder lets your customer know when to be prepared for their home visit, maybe your coming to check measurements to be sure their new wall oven will fit. Click 'Home Visit Reminder settings on'

Home Visit Scheduled

Home Visit Scheduled comes out right after it is scheduled in the system. Click 'Home Visit Scheduled settings on'

In-Store Order confirmation

In-Store Order confirmation is specific to orders placed in the physical store, it simply sends a confirmation to your customer and includes a PDF invoice. Click 'In-Store Order Confirmation settings on'

Reschedule Request

Reschedule Request is sent when a customer has requested that their delivery be rescheduled and offers next steps to be sure it gets done. Click 'Reschedule Request'

Share Your Feedback

Share Your Feedback gives your customer the opportunity to share a little about their experience. Click 'Share Your Feedback settings on'

Website Order Confirmation

Website Order Confirmation is specific to orders placed on your website only and includes a PDF invoice. Click 'Website Order Confirmation settings on'

Delivery is On the Way

And finally! Your Delivery is On the Way is triggered when the driver clicks “On my way” in the drivers app! Click 'Your Delivery Is On the Way settings on'

SMS

Are you still with me? Show me those thumbs up because were headed to SMS! Screenshot of SMS in Notifications Just Kidding! most of these are dupes, just a couple to point out! Click 'SMS' The scheduling link is sent when you are utilizing the “Auto Scheduler” feature. You turn this on in your delivery and install automation settings and can flip it on or off right on the orders Click 'Scheduling Link settings on' See here? Special Terms and Conditions

And Special Terms and Conditions are already printed on your invoices, but you can also have them sent via text here. You already set them up from the main settings page under Terms and Conditions.
