The Select Action Menu in Appliance.io gives you quick access to everything you need to manage an order efficiently — from printing documents and emailing customers to creating quotes, scheduling visits, and processing returns. It’s designed to simplify your workflow, keep all order-related actions in one place, and help your team move faster with fewer clicks.

📍 Accessing the Select Action Menu

To get started, open any order from the My Orders page. Once the order is open, look at the top-right corner — right next to the Archive button — and you’ll see the Select Action Menu.

📋 Itemize Toggle

Turn this on to display an itemized breakdown of the customer’s order. This is perfect for transparency, accounting, or anytime you need to show detailed line items.

🖨️ Print Options

Generate order documents in the format you need. You’ll see four print styles:

• Invoice – A complete, detailed invoice

• Without Model Number – For simplified documentation

• Without Price – Ideal for estimates or customer-facing forms

• Without Fulfillment & Protection Plan – Excludes fulfillment and protection plan details for a cleaner printout

Clicking any option will instantly generate a printable file.

📧 Emailing the Invoice

Send the invoice directly to a customer, team member, or anyone who needs it.

Inside the Email window, you can:

• Add multiple recipients

• Edit the subject line

• Customize the message

• Choose to include or exclude:

  • Model Numbers

  • Pay Link

  • Fulfillment & Protection Plan

This makes it easy to tailor what information gets shared.

Similar to Print, the Download button lets you save order documents in multiple formats:

• Invoice

• Without Model Number

• Without Price

• With Damage Waiver

Perfect for saving to your computer or attaching manually to emails.

📜 Changelog

The Changelog provides a complete timeline of updates made to the order, including:

• Payment changes

• Product or fulfillment updates

• Manual edits made by team members

This is especially useful for support teams, managers, and tracking customer requests over time.

🏠 Home Visit

Schedule and manage customer visit types right from the order.

Available Home Visit types include:

• Survey

• Service

• Install

🚐 Trip Charge

Need to apply a travel-related fee? Simply enter the Trip Charge amount and click Save. The charge will automatically be added to the order total — no manual calculations needed.

©️ Duplicate to Quote

Instantly duplicate the current order or quote into a new quote.

Choose the location, then decide whether the new quote is for:

• A new customer

• An existing customer

• The same customer

This is great for customers comparing options or updating large orders.

🆕 Create New Quote

Quickly open a blank new quote for the customer connected to the order. Perfect for upsells, additional appliance needs, or new project phases.

↩️ Start Return

Begin the return process for items in the order. This option is typically available only to managers or users with return permissions.
