One of the most powerful tools in Appliance.io for tracking performance is the Sales KPI Report. It gives you a complete picture of your team’s performance with all the key metrics you need for smart decision-making and growth.

📍 Accessing the Report

  • Go to the sidebar and click Reports
  • Under Management Tools, select Sales KPI Report
  • You’ll now see your full sales dashboard with all active salespeople and their records

🔍 Filters

Make reporting easier with filters:
  • Salesperson
  • Date
  • Location
💡 Tip: If you filter by Salesperson, the view changes from month-by-month to a yearly KPI summary for that salesperson. 👉 Need a clean slate? Just hit Reset Filter.

📤 Exporting Reports

Need to share or analyze the data?
  • Click Export
  • Choose between PDF, Excel, or CSV
⚠️ Note: The export reflects whatever filters are applied.

📑 Understanding the Columns

Here’s what each column means:
  • Number of Quotes → Total issued quotes (including ones converted to orders)
  • Number of Orders → Total orders placed
  • Items Reserved in Inventory → Reserved item count
  • Sales Closing Ratio → Quotes vs. orders ratio
  • Average Closing Time → Avg. time from quote → order
  • Protection Plan Attachment Rate (%) → Warranties ÷ products × 100
  • Models Returned → Number of models returned
  • Install Returns → Number of installations returned
  • Protection Plan Returns → Number of protection plans returned
  • Total Returns → All returns combined
  • Protection Plan Revenue → Revenue from protection plan sales
  • Install Revenue → Revenue from installation services
  • Average Order Value → Total order value ÷ number of orders
  • Total Revenue → Overall revenue generated
  • Profit Margin → Price minus cost

👥 Compare Salespeople

Easily compare team performance:
  1. Check the box next to a salesperson
  2. Select up to five in total
  3. Click Compare
A pop-up shows all KPIs side by side — from quotes to profit margin. ✅ You can also export comparisons as PDF, Excel, or CSV.
