The Inventory Page in Appliance.io is your command center for managing all your products efficiently. With powerful filters and streamlined controls, you can find exactly what you’re looking for in just a few clicks — whether you’re checking availability, managing product conditions, or preparing exports for reports.
📍 Accessing the Inventory Page
To get started, open the sidebar and click Inventory. This page displays all your stocked products along with advanced filtering options that make searching quick and precise. At the top, you’ll find these main filters:- Location
- Inventory Type
- Condition
- Product Status
- Brand
- Category Search
🧩 Inventory Type
Think of Inventory Type as a snapshot of where your products sit in the supply chain. Each type shows a unique stage in the product lifecycle:- Requested – Stock that’s been requested but not yet ordered from the vendor.
- Available on Order – Stock currently on its way; can be reserved for future orders.
- Reserved on Order – Stock in transit that’s already tied to a customer order.
- In Warehouse – The total amount of stock physically in your warehouse.
- Available – Ready-to-sell stock not reserved for anyone.
- Reserved – Stock that’s been allocated to specific customer orders.
🧾 Condition
Condition defines the physical and cosmetic state of your inventory. You can customize these categories in Product Catalog Settings to fit your business model. Even if an item isn’t immediately available, it will still appear on your website. In these cases, the estimated delivery date will turn orange, signaling to customers that the item is not ready stock and may take longer to deliver than usual. Common conditions include:- New – Brand-new units, ready for sale.
- Scratch & Dent – Fully functional with minor flaws; displayed on your site with clear labeling.
- Used – Previously owned and repackaged; shown as Used when marked Available.
- Floor Model – Display units for in-store sale only.
- Open-Box – Nearly new returns or display units with minimal wear.
- Demo – Used for testing or demonstrations; sold manually via POS.
- Loaner – Temporary replacement units, for internal use only.
🧠 Product Status
This filter tells you where each product stands in your catalog lifecycle:- Active Models – Currently available for sale and visible on your website.
- Discontinued Models – Out of production but still sellable while in stock.
- Custom Models – Unique items outside standard categories, not listed online.
- Includes for Display – Reserved for in-store presentation.
- Includes Replacements – Set aside for customer replacements; not for sale online.
🏷️ Brands & Categories
Use the Brand filter to narrow results by manufacturer. Then, refine your view further with Select Categories — this filter mimics your website’s search logic, allowing for precise targeting across multiple product tiers. As you make selections from left to right, each choice automatically narrows the next. You can also type a keyword in the top search bar to jump straight to your results.🔄 Resetting Filters
Need to start fresh? You can:- Remove specific selections by clicking the “x” next to each filter, or
- Hit Reset Filters to clear everything at once.
📦 Exporting Results
At the top-right corner of the Inventory Page, you’ll find export options. You can:- Export all results as a PDF or CSV, or
- Select specific line items using checkboxes before exporting.
