Product Content & SEO Settings

Customize product content, images, and SEO for better visibility and conversions

The Product Content & SEO feature in Appliance.io gives you full control over how your products appear on your website and in search engines. From editing product descriptions and metadata to customizing images, features, and schema, this tool helps you create optimized, high-performing product pages that reflect your brand and improve search visibility.

Whether you’re refining content for SEO, replacing default images, or adding unique product features, Product Content & SEO makes it easy — no coding required.

📍 Accessing Product Content & SEO

To get started, open the sidebar and click Settings. Under Website Settings, select Product Content & SEO.

Inside the page, you’ll find:

• A Search bar to quickly locate specific products

• A Reset All to Default button in the top-right, allowing you to revert all changes back to the original settings at any time

📊 Product Content & SEO Table Overview

The main table displays key information for each product, including:

• Model Number

• Product Title

• Meta Title

• Product Description

• Last Updated

• Action

In the Action column, you can:

• Click the pencil icon to edit product SEO and content

• Select View Product Detail Page to open the live product page on your website

✏️ Editing Product SEO

Click the pencil icon to open the Edit Product SEO panel.

📦 Product Description

At the top of the page, you’ll see the Product Description section:

• The Model Number is locked and cannot be edited

• You can edit the Product Title and Product Description

• Choose between the Visual Editor or the HTML Editor, depending on your preference

🔍 Basic Information & SEO Preview

Next is the Basic Information section, where you can customize:

• Meta Title

• Meta Description

As you make changes, a Google Search Preview updates in real time, showing exactly how your product will appear in search results.

🖼️ Product Images

The Product Images section allows you to control which images appear on the product detail page.

You can choose between:

• Default Image – Automatically displays the official product image provided by Skulytics

• Custom Image – Upload your own image to replace the default Skulytics image

Uploading a custom image will fully override the default image for that product.

⭐ Features Section

Below images is the Features section, where you can add your own product highlights. Anything added here will replace the default Skulytics features.

To add a feature:

1. Click Add Feature

2. Enter:

• Image (optional)

• Title

• Text Tag

• Description

You can delete features or add multiple ones as needed — total flexibility.

🧩 Schema Override

The final section is Schema Override, which lets you customize how your product appears to search engines.

Switch the toggle to Yes to unlock:

• Schema Type (Product or Breadcrumb)

• Schema Name

• Schema Description

• Schema Preview

If you want to undo your changes, click Reset to Default at any time.

💾 Saving Your Changes

Once you’re happy with your updates, click Save Changes.

Your product page will instantly reflect the new content, images, SEO metadata, and schema settings on your live website.
