The Vendor Purchase Report in Appliance.io makes it easy to track purchases by both vendors and brands. With built-in comparisons, flexible filters, and export options, it gives you the insights you need to measure purchasing trends, evaluate performance, and make smarter financial decisions.

๐Ÿ“ Accessing the Report

  • From the sidebar, click Reports
  • Select Vendor Purchase Report
Inside, youโ€™ll see two main tabs:
  • By Vendor
  • By Brand

โš™๏ธ By Vendor Filters

When you open the By Vendor tab, youโ€™ll find four key filters:
  • Date Comparison โ†’ Choose ranges like Last 30 Days, This Month, Q1โ€“Q4, or All Time. You can compare them against the previous Month, Quarter, Year, or select No Comparison.
  • Vendor Filter โ†’ Displays all vendor groups available within your selected date range.
  • Condition Filter โ†’ Defaults to โ€œSelect All.โ€
  • Reset Filter โ†’ Quickly clears all filters and restores the default view.

๐Ÿ“ค Export Options

Once your filters are set, you can export the data with a single click. Choose between PDF, Excel, or CSV. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Note: The export will reflect any filters youโ€™ve applied.

๐Ÿ” Report Views

The Vendor Purchase Report gives you two ways to view your data:
  • Expand โ†’ Displays vendor totals only, without brand details.
  • Collapse All โ†’ Drills down into each vendor to show purchases broken down by brand.
The data columns remain the same across both views:
  • Purchases
  • Change in Purchases
The only difference is the first column: Vendor in Expand view, or Brand in Collapse view.

๐Ÿท๏ธ By Brand Tab

The By Brand tab works exactly the same as By Vendor:
  • Same filters
  • Same data columns
  • Same export options
The difference is that it focuses only on brands, with no vendor grouping.

๐ŸŽ‰ Youโ€™re Ready!

With the Vendor Purchase Report, you can track purchases across vendors and brands, compare performance over time, and export your findings for deeper analysis. Itโ€™s a simple but powerful way to keep your purchasing strategy on track.
