The Deferred Revenue Report in Appliance.io helps you break down each sale into clear revenue categories — Product Sales, Install Sales, Protection Plan Sales, and Delivery Charges. With this report, you’ll always know exactly where your revenue is coming from, making it easier for accounting teams to reconcile books and for managers to analyze business performance.
⚠️ Beta Notice
This feature is currently in beta. Until it’s fully developed, deferred revenue data should be used alongside a third-party accounting system such as QuickBooks for official accounting and reconciliation purposes.
📍 Accessing the Report
From the sidebar, click Reports Select Deferred Revenue Report Inside the report, you’ll find four filters to refine your data:- Date
- Search Order Number
- Location
- Categories (choose Product, Install, Protection Plan, or Delivery)

After selecting Deferred Revenue, you’ll see two tabs that control how data is displayed:- Real Time View → Shows current deferred revenue balances. Once amounts are recognized as revenue, they are removed from this view.
